i GALLERY OSAKA (Osaka, Japan) is pleased to announce a collaboration cap with New Era®, created in conjunction with “Iteration,” the first solo exhibition in Japan by Stockholm-based artist Christopher Robin Nordström (TokyoBuild).
For this project, two versions of the New Era® 9TWENTY™ cap have been produced, reflecting TokyoBuild’s unique perspective on urban observation.
Venue-exclusive pre-orders are currently available at i GALLERY OSAKA.
In addition, the first 50 customers who place a pre-order at the exhibition venue will receive a special signed sticker by Christopher Robin Nordström.
TokyoBuild × New Era® 9TWENTY™ CAP “ITERATION”
Based on New Era®’s popular 9TWENTY™ silhouette, this special-edition cap reflects the visual language and artistic practice of TokyoBuild.
The front features TokyoBuild’s initials, “TB,” embroidered in a custom design. The side panel features the Japanese text “東京ビルド,” while the rear is embroidered with “Iteration,” the title of the current exhibition.
The cap translates TokyoBuild’s ongoing observation of anonymous architecture, repetitive urban landscapes, and traces of time found throughout Japanese cities into a wearable object.
Inspired by buildings discovered through Google Street View, the design reflects the artist’s continued exploration of city, distance, memory, and perception.
